An Bille um Íocaíochtaí Iomarcaíochta 2003:

Redundancy Payments Bill 2003:

For the purpose of Article 17.2 of the Constitution, the Government recommend that it is expedient to authorise such payments out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas as are necessary to give effect to any Act of the present session to amend and extend the Redundancy Payments Act 1967, to amend the Redundancy Payments Act 1971, the Protection of Employees (Employers' Insolvency) Act 1984, the Social Welfare (Consolidation) Act 1993 and the Employment Equality Act 1998 and to provide for related matters.

1) Report of the Teachers Arbitration Board on the Staff Side claim that school principles who act as secretaries to Board of Management be paid an allowance of ÿ2,467 per annum.

2) Tuarascáil ó Bhord Eadrána na Múinteoirí maidir leis an éileamh ó a rinne Taobh na Foirne go ndéanfaí post breise freagrachta a leithroinnt ar gach scoil chun feidhmeanna a bhaineann leis an Acht Oideachais (Leas) a dhiúscairt, agus go mbeadh gaol ann idir grád an phoist agus méid agus riachtanais na scoile.

2) Report of the Teachers Arbitration Board on the Staff Side claim that each school be allocated an additional post of responsibility for the discharge of functions related to the Education Welfare Act, the grade of the post to be related to the size and needs of the school.

3) Tuarascáil ó Bhord Eadrána na Múinteoirí maidir leis an éileamh a rinne Taobh na Foirne go gceadófaí bliain amháin saoire sabóidí do mhúinteoirí tar éis deich mbliana seirbhíse.

3) Report of the Teachers Arbitration Board on the Staff Side claim that teachers be allowed one year of paid sabbatical leave after ten years of service.

4) Tuarascáil ó Bhord Eadrána na Múinteoirí maidir leis an éileamh a rinne Taobh na Foirne (i) go mbeadh gach múinteoir nach bhfuair ardú céime i dteideal go gceapfaí é nó í chuig post freagrachta múinteora dualgas speisialta tar éis cúig bliana mar mhúinteoir aitheanta agus (ii) go mbeadh aon mhúinteoir a fuair ardú céime amhlaidh nó aon mhúinteoir nach bhfuair ardú céime i dteideal go gceapfaí é nó í chuig post freagrachta Príomh-Oide Cúnta tar éis seirbhís deich mbliana mar mhúinteoir aitheanta.

4) Report of the Teachers Arbitration Board on the Staff Side claim that (i) each unpromoted teacher would be entitled to appointment to a special duties teacher post of responsibility after five years as a recognised teacher and (ii) any such promoted or any unpromoted teacher would be entitled to promotion as an Assistant Principle post of responsibility after ten years service as a recognised teacher.
